Getting Ready for CAE with Sérgio Pantoja and T. Veigga
This 40-hour course aims at preparing teachers to take the C1 Advanced (CAE).
– Number of participants: minimum of 7 and maximum of 10.
One full mock test will be given during class time, as well as a number of practice exercises. Students also have the option of signing up for a second mock test in May outside class hours.

There will be a preliminary needs analysis to ensure that candidates’ individual needs can be accommodated and that they have a certain level of proficiency.
Smartphones and tablets are not recommended. You will need regular access to a computer with an Internet connection. High speed broadband access (at least 10Mbps) is highly recommended.
You will also need a headset and a webcam (your computer may have an in-built camera).
Classes are on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm (Brasília time).

T. Veigga is Trinity CertTESOL tutor, teacher, teacher trainer and materials designer based in Rio. He holds a BA in Languages (UFRJ), a Specialisation in Media-Education (PUC- Rio), the CPE, and Delta Modules 1 and 2, currently working on module 3. He has written articles on various subjects related to teaching, as well as presented at conferences in Brazil and abroad. An active member of the ELT community, T. is part of the BRAZ-TESOL advisory council and has been a pedagogical coordinator for BrELT since 2015.
Sérgio Pantoja is a CELT-P and CELT-S tutor, teacher, teacher trainer and speaking examiner. He has been been in ELT since 2002 and holds, among others, the Cambridge English: Proficiency, a degree in Languages, a postgraduate degree in English Language Teaching and Translation, a TESOL Certificate from the University of Oregon, and the Delta. His Delta Module 3 Specialism focused on LDT (Language Development for Teachers). Sérgio is also part of the BRAZ-TESOL advisory council and has presented at many teaching conferences.
