Why taking the CAE?
Many teachers have C2 Proficiency as their ultimate goal and that’s wonderful. However, the journey to C2 Proficiency can be long and time consuming and some teachers feel pressured to be certified and seen differently by the market. For those teachers, C1 Advanced is the perfect certification to pursue. If one is in doubt between CAE or CPE, it is best to go for C1 Advanced. If the teacher does great at CAE and gets grade A, their English will be referenced as C2!
