In this third edition of this course, I decided to go bigger (and better)!

If you feel listening is a difficult skill and your students are not really showing much improvement despite your efforts to work on listening on a regular basis, this course is for you!
This was originally a successful 4-hour course, but now I decided to expand the pronunciation component of the course, as well as add how you can show students their progress.

During this 8-hour long course, you will:

  • See the difference between listening lessons and listening activities;
  • Look at different approaches to listening and have practical examples of how to use them in class;
  • Revisit and expand the concepts of bottom-up and top-down processing;
  • Study how pronunciation and listening are related;
  • Learn about activities for you to work on pronunciation and improve your students’ listening skills;
  • Learn how to show learners their listening abilities are improving;
  • Explore different suggestions and resources to improve learners’ skills.

Join me on Zoom on October 4 and 11 from 15:00 to 19:15. Participants are required to have broadband connection.
